Out & About in the ‘Nooga: Weekend Edition

Hey ‘Noogans! Sorry this is kind of late; turns out it’s kind of hard to balance two blogs, a toddler, and a full-time job. Who’da thunk it? Here are some last-minute family friendly activities going around in Chattanooga this weekend!

Prater’s Mill County Fair: October 8th & 9th from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M., located in Dalton GA. Stop by with the family for a fun time! Admission is $5.00/person. {Directions}

Bark in the Park @ Heritage Park: October 8th from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. Stop by with your kids AND your furry canine friends for face painting, police & sherrif dog demos, costume contests and more! Admission is totally free!

River Rocks Festival 2011: River Rocks continues through the weekend, ending on October 9th. Some of the Friday & Saturday activities include a learn how to juggle class, tethered hot air balloon rides in Coolidge Park, a greenhouse tour at the nature center and MUCH more.

Fall HodgePodge Arts & Crafts Show: October 7th & 8th at the Signal Mountain Town Hall on Signal Mountain. Shop arts & crafts from local vendors (Christmas shopping, anyone?), plus fun activities like face painting, crafts, a Halloween costume parade, and live music and entertainment. This one is a can’t-miss event for the family!

Get out there & have fun in Chattanooga!
